The Flint Siblings

In a recent drawing I mentioned how many of the main characters from my new webcomic project had evolved along the years. Today I'd like to show you another of those huge changes. Here you have Firo and Floriana Flint.

Brother and sister, Firo and Floriana live with their parents in a miner's town, somewhere deep in the dry, desertic wastelands of the reign. It's not Floriana the one who changed; in fact, she is still an adorable 9 year-old, tree-hugger, little girl who loves anything nature-related. No, the big, big changes come from her older brother, Firo.

In the original story, Firo was an absolute jerk (with a hearth of gold) who worked with his father in the mines, in search for precious gems. After considering his... ah... let's call it "native power", I realized that being a miner was incredibly irresponsible, and so I changed his job as well as his physique.

Now Firo is a young blacksmith, a job that fits him so much better. Also, now he has a much more muscular body, which makes him one of the strongest characters in the group.

But he's still a jerk.
