Behold the Big Grin - Take 2 by megawackymax Behold the Big Grin - Take 2 by megawackymax

¿Qué me sugieren ustedes?

FULL VIEW, please! You will want to take a look at all those little details! =D

This is the second take for my first wanna-be-print image. "Behold the Big Grin" shows a huge Smiley surrounded by hundreds of smaller, "normal" Smileys.

For this second rendering I increased the different Smiley combinations (color + face), changed the camera's angle and also added random empty spaces among the crowd of Smileys.

I'm still wondering about the ground and horizon. What would you suggest for it? I was thinking either a virtual space (like a green grid or something) or a Web-Themed texture... I accept suggestions.

Yeah, though it's probably too colorful as for a wallpaper. :-P It'd make your eyes dizzy as soon as you wish to look for a specific icon in your desktop, huh?

Thanks for the comment! =D

That is amazing. ;O;
I think a backround with 0&1's on it would look nice, in green. But whatever. Looks great anyway. :D

Uhm, glowing green binary background... Not really bad, not really bad at all... I'd have to check how much of the actual background will be seen in the final image, but your idea sounds quite interesting. =D Thanks for the advise!

I think that a plain white background would be better than the green swirly one. It is a little distracting from all the faces that are green

Indeed, my idea is to change the background. Plain white, you say... I should give it a try, of course.

Thanks for the tip! =D

Thanks! It didn't really took forever. See, I use POV-Ray, a freeware raytracer which uses pure TXT code for generating the scenes, and it allows programming, so I just had to figure out a mathematical formule as for placing concentric rings of Smileys on the ground.

Alright, so it wasn't precisely simple to find that formule, but once I had it the rest became much simpler. ;-)
